Access Site

I’ve been able to set up a cheaper domain with access to the previous projects.

  • ANONYMOUS REVIEW podcast – AA History
  • VIRTUAL SPEAKER MEETING podcast – 12-Step Speakers
  • SPONSORSHIP podcast – 12-Step Sponsorship from people with years/decades of experience
  • RECOVERY READER – whole and in part, free download and hardcopy order option.
  • SPONSOR MAGAZINE – magazine – PDF with the three current issues. A fourth issue may appear in 2014. Maybe even a fifth. Also link to hardcopy.
  • INTRODUCTION TO RECOVERY class – the source of all of the projects, a different newcomer’s class given at the Healing Place of Wake County since 2004 with resources, techniques and 24 recordings. Research for this class became the anthology Recovery Reader.
  • TRADITIONS – Experiment in a self-education online ‘class’ to be followed as you see get. Key speakers on the history and application of the Twelve Traditions.
  • SPEAKER DISK – Experiment with a computer disk image containing various speakers which you can listen to through your computer, extract for you MP3 player or burn individually as audio CDs. ISO file.
  • ARCHIVE.ORG – direct links to the various storage sites for most of these projects on the site.

The site is updating and should be available by October 4.

Things are calming down. I’m contemplating a one-per-month podcast on the traditions. Fully produced on each with a bunch of comments from different people.

Not committed yet, considering.

Price Reduction and Free Download

The price of GOOD ORDERLY DIRECTIONS print edition through Amazon has been reduced to $4 US,  £2.90 BGP, and 3.45 Euros (Can’t find the Euro symbol in my font). Amazon has a strange calculation on fees translated to other currencies. is the direct link.

The full text can be downloaded for free from or the Temporary Update Page, which also has the summary document, and links to all previous projects as free downloads or print-on-demand editions.

No More Little Books

Print-on-Demand offers a new channel for publishing low print run “niche” publications, but the two small-format (8.5×5.5) booklets have been too expensive in Print on Demand. So, we won’t be doing that again.

The free PDFs will remain available. New short projects will be available in free download format PDF only. A RECOVERY READER is being revised for re-issue, but it still available in paperback and hardback through print-on-demand.

And all of the projects remain available through See the holding page for links to those offerings.

I was set to cancel all of my web presence because I couldn’t pay the current hosting bill. Grim, but became willing.

I just got off the phone with my hosting company. As I was preparing the bullet to bite, they decided that I had been a good customer for a long time. 2004, to be exact. And they cancelled my bill for the quarter. and will still go away. They mark extra costs I cannot justify, but the cheaper will be reasonable. All previous projects are available as free downloads from (that is the three issues of Sponsor Magazine, Recovery Reader, and 107 podcasts).

New projects will need to be reality based. And I’m not sure what that means.

But I’m really grateful for this little piece of grace in billing.

Good Orderly Direction just got an update for the distribution service:

“The book Good Orderly Direction is now published to Barnes & Noble and can be viewed here.

Here is the status of this book at all sales channels selected by you:

  • Amazon Published on July 29, 2013, 10:45 p.m.
  • Apple Submitted to Distributor on July 29, 2013, 12:27 p.m.
  • Barnes & Noble Published on July 30, 2013, 4:15 a.m.

The changes for the Sponsor Magazine domain should be sorted out shortly – probably by September. The pointer page (see previous entry) has links to ALL the previous releases for free thru Archive.Com.

And Good Orderly Direction will be available as a free download with the new domain and home page. eBooks are 99-cents.
